About Me
I’m a design leader who works at the intersection of user needs, technical feasibility, and business strategy — the space where real product impact happens.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, pharma, and B2B tech, I specialize in making complex systems intuitive, scalable, and delightful. Whether I’m creating design systems, redesigning workflows for 7,000+ employees, or introducing AI tools that optimize user journeys, my focus is on reducing friction for users. My goal is to create thoughtful products that work for the people using them, and benefit the organizations behind them.
If you’re solving big, messy problems with high stakes, let’s chat about how I can help you to not only meet your objectives, but give you key results that surpass them.
Contact me to discuss potential collaborations. I look forward to hearing from you!

What It's Like To Work With Me
In addition to reducing friction for users, I’m driven by positive vibes, creativity, and coffee—and I genuinely love helping others. You can read testimonials here. Some other helpful info:
I’m an empath, highly positive, and fairly extroverted. I try to see the good in everyone.
I believe in continually learning through self-reflection and growth. You’ll often find me doing mini meditations at lunch (then eating tacos).
I’m not a mind reader. I prefer when people say what they’re thinking. Honesty is the best policy.
Design requires asking thoughtful questions and sometimes challenging assumptions. I don’t see friction as a bad thing, as long as it’s respectful.
I sincerely enjoy working with engineers and product managers to find solutions that are both user-friendly and technically sound.
My engineering experience helps me design with implementation in mind, creating solutions that actually work. One of my former engineering teams had a slogan: “In Alyssa We Trust.”

Beyond Work
Originally from the northeast just outside NYC, I've made my home outside Philadelphia. I love pushing creative boundaries in my professional work, while personally I'm all about growth through fitness, wellness, and getting outdoors.
On weekends, you'll find me hiking trails, working on Cricut projects, or giving my rescued Persian cat, Maple, shrimp (or whatever her heart desires). She's 7 years old, and although she looks grumpy she's really affectionate.
